BoothCMOR Presents at OACBMRDD Annual Conference
 
The annual OACBMRDD conference was held on December 5th to December 7th in Columbus Ohio. The mission of OACBMRDD is to "support county boards of mental retardation and developmental disabilities in providing services and supports to individuals with disabilities." CMOR had the opportunity to present along with Kevin McGee from the County of Summit Board of MRDD on two topics "Market Research in the Development of Levy Campaigns" and "Using Surveys and Research in Managing your MRDD Board". Mark your calendars! CMOR will once again be conducting Collaborative Polls in 2008. Collaborative Polls are a research service offered to community organizations and local businesses as a an affordable method of collecting information on opinions & attitudes of county residents.  Each Poll is a telephone survey that includes questions posed by multiple organizations in which each participant purchases only those questions necessary to meet their information and research needs.
 
Collaborative Polls for 2008 Include:
  • Summit County
  • Stark County 
  • Medina County 

CMOR will be expanding our Collaborative Polling to other Ohio counties. If you are interested in CMOR initiating a collaborative poll in your county, please contact us.

Team Focus: Amanda Barna Award
 
 Amanda is currently the Vice President at the Center for Marketing and Opinion Research.  In this capacity, she is responsible for business and marketing development including recruiting new clients and projects, developing strong relationships with vendors, designing marketing materials, and recruiting and retaining a diverse, highly-qualified staff.  In addition, Amanda coordinates and implements data collection activities in a multiple project environment including mail, telephone, and focus group investigative projects.  Amanda has a MA in Urban Studies.  Amanda is currently serves on the Board of the Canton Ad Club and is a member of KNOW, Jackson-Belden Chamber, and Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce.
