Spotlight Service:
Focus Group Administration
Focus
groups are an efficient method of data collection in
order to gather insight and in-depth knowledge from a
small group of people. Examples of focus group topics
include acquiring ideas to improve programs, services,
or products, gauging opinion as to what customers or
clients think of new programs, services, or products, or
obtaining information that can be used to design a
telephone, mail, or web surveys. In
addition, focus groups provide valuable insight into
marketing and ad campaigns whether the goal is to test
messages or to review public opinion of materials such
as radio or TV spots and print materials and
signs.
The
Professional Staff of CMOR has extensive
experience in recruiting and administering focus groups
and analyzing the results. CMOR
has
experienced moderators on staff and conducts
pre-recruiting for focus group participants. CMOR works
closely with each client to identify the scope of the
focus group and the recruiting methods to be
utilized. Read more about our
research services here. | |

CMOR 2008 Collaborative
Polls
Do
you need to. . . . .
- Determine Name
Recognition and Awareness
- Measure Community
Satisfaction or identify community needs
- Measure Support
for an Initiative or a Levy
- Guage support for a new
product or service offering
The Collaborative
Poll program is a research service offered to community
organizations and local businesses as an affordable
method of collecting information on opinions, attitudes,
and needs of county residents. Organizations and
businesses purchase only those questions necessary to
meet their information and research
needs.
Currently,
CMOR has planned 2008 polls for Summit,
Stark, and Medina
Counties. CMOR is
planning to expand our Collaborative Polling to
other Ohio counties. If you are interested in CMOR
initiating a collaborative poll in your county, please
contact Michelle
